Second Home Visa (5-Year Stay Permit)

The Second Home Visa allows eligible applicants to reside legally in Indonesia for up to five years. It is an excellent option for digital nomads and online business owners who wish to enjoy the Bali lifestyle while continuing their remote activities.

Key requirements
- Financial requirement: Maintain a minimum balance of approximately USD 130,000 (IDR 2,080,000,000) in an account with a state-owned Indonesian bank (BNI, Mandiri, or BRI).
- Bank account: The visa requires an Indonesian bank account to receive the deposit. We will assist you in opening this account at our office.

Tax considerations
- This visa does not, by itself, make you an Indonesian tax resident. Tax residency is determined by Indonesian tax law (for example, time spent in Indonesia) rather than visa type.

Application process
- Overseas processing: The Second Home Visa must be applied for from outside Indonesia.
- Activation: After your bank account is opened and funded, you will need to leave Indonesia for at least one day and re-enter to activate the five-year visa.
