Local PT (Perseroan Terbatas)

A Local PT is Indonesia’s standard limited-liability company. By law, it can be established and owned only by Indonesian citizens and Indonesian-owned legal entities. If any foreign individual or entity will hold shares, the company cannot be classified as a Local PT and must be registered as a PT PMA. See our PT PMA section for details.
